                          Review

Well what do we have here, yet another one man black metal projected. Lets start of by saying that this project fails to be typical of a one man black metal band. Often straying from the stereo typical riffing and repatative song structures, not a single song last much over 4 minutes. No random bellowing screams that make little sense to the listener other then it must be leet due to it's sheer randomness. What it does have relative to black metal is a very strong vocal and of course the rough production. Though not the worst I have ever heard and seems to allow for all instruments to be audible. It could definatly use the loving attention of some professional mixing and mastering.
Now let us get to the guts of this band, now as stated earlier it is not just black metal, a great deal of thrash influence can be found in atleast 4 of the 8 tracks on this release. The second track Non Repent is definatly black metal, no solo's to be had and continues blast beats. The artist playing a very chaotic style with a great deal of aggression. Then we get to Depraved, again production cause this track to suffer a little with less punch then I am sure was intended. It leads further away from Non Repent as it shows a clearer song structure with a more memorable set of riffs, very reminiscent of old slayer or tankard. This becomes more realized as it has 2 solos that show some progression in skill and adds to a good climax for the song. The vocals still raspy and hateful, but clear enough to make out the profanity and obvious discontent for religion.
Then a mild interlude ensues with Nabitshnaha a acoustic melody, that reminds me slightly of a track from the first In Flames album or that of ulvers acoustic album, minus the moaning. A good track with some interesting riffs, though not ground breaking by any means. Then we are thrown into the title track, starting off with a rolling drum beat and bass, the riffing more technical which shows an effort to create a more progressive black metal. A worthy attempt, but still with a chaotic structure. Either intentional or just the signs of a freshmen album is still enjoyable. It has a stronger chorus line then all previous tracks, but what makes this song interesting is again the solo. A definite strong side of this band and one that despite much needed improvement should continue in future releases.
After the enjoyment of hearing some good soloing on Curse, you are brought back down, to a milder tone with Damn God. This is an alright track, with some interesting riffs, rather boring drums, which almost sound as if no effort was made to do anything special with. The solos are prolly the most typical of them all and leaves the listener wishing there was a little something more. One can hope this is a first attempt song (side note "IT WAS" and will not be repeated. Then we get to our ending track A view to forget, a simple acoustic medley with a enjoyable tune. A solid structure and pleasant ending to a chaotic and varied style album. Before I forget there is an intro Ode to War, a piano piece with clips from either a war movie or news reels. It shows some skill on keys, but is interesting for one or two listens, but one will find themselves skipping it to get to the next track.

Final Thought- On a curve this is not a bad first run and shows potential for a decent sophmore album. The strongest points being the vocals with an almost industrial tone and the lead guitar and solo work. The handling of other instruments could use some improving along with song structure as chaotic to this reviewer is good to some degree, but leaves little to remember. This all being said, as though listed as black metal, shows no loyalty to it and is definatly to Depraved Indifferance's benefit.

Miscreant- Well here it is my first full length demo, hope you enjoy it! A improvement from my last release which was just random stuff thrown in a folder. Also attention Cydd the tags are correct this time .

Enjoy and as always Seed til your Bolux hurt!
