"They have the famous "certain something" that many others don't own. While the growls are omnipresent, they sound rather smooth and hypnotizing than aggressive or evil so that the progressive touch rules over the death metal brand. Depth was originally formed in 2005 as a project between Gaser, Edi and Bash on the drums, the bassist slot was filled and Depth produced the Depth LP by the summer of 2007 Due to personal reasons Depth was inactive as a live band, but remained creatively active. Between 2007 and 2009 Gaser and Edi worked separately on music until they were able to meet up again and record the Memento Mori EP in January 2010.
